Haven Chilton Mk 1.1
Haven Chilton Mk 1.1
I hated the 7750 for a long time; it was too common and boring, plus for a long time it was the only chronograph game going.
As microbrands have blossomed, I got this weird itch a year ago to make our own 7750. The more Steve and I worked on one, the more it became clear the silhouette wasn’t in-and-of-itself bad, it’d just gotten tired.
So here’s our crack at it. As always, we’re using the Sellita SW5X0M, though in this case, we’re using the OG, the 500 (essentially, just a manual version of the 7750).
It’s a v stripped-down watch: no telemeter/tachy/decimeter/pulsations scale, just a simple 3-register Chilton in the original colorway. Same as always: we order the best parts we can get from around the world and everything’s assembled here in northeast Indiana by the best watchmaker working, Donovan Paradise.
